Bill drops in 22 Nov 2013

As usual Bill dropped into places in the Towyn and Kinmel Bay Community today. First stop was the adult youth club held each Friday and Wednesday at Y Morfa Leisure Centre. Next stop is the Chester Avenue Community House run by Cartrefi Conwy with Vicky Welsman the Kinmel Bay Community House Development Manager.

The Community House is has an IT suite and delivers computer user courses across the area. While at the centre Bill recorded an interviewed discussing development of the Community House in the context of parallel developments he is involved with at the sports centre and Towyn School and more widely across the county and sports arena.

At Towyn School Ysgol Y Foryd, Bill met teacher Mrs Hogg to discuss future plans for community and school interaction in a two-way process of engagement. Mrs Hogg said “the children have great ideas of how they can do things in the community and we would like to develop these in partnership with local residents”.
